For the past few months, since the Backstreet Boys have been on a break from their record setting time at Sphere, Nick has been splitting time between spending time with his kids and recording new solo music.

On Father’s Day… he combined the two.

He first posted Saoirse, Pearl and Odin on his Instagram, in the booth and at the board, learning about harmony and what dad does for work. Nick then spoke to E! Online about the song the trio will be featured on, titled “First Place”.

“This song a very special song to me. It’s a song basically about being in the industry and being away from your children and traveling and working really hard like all of us do as fathers, and parents in general, when we’re out and away and want to be with our children,” Nick told E! in his cutest interview yet with his children sitting on either side of him.
